How can you enable a PTY port that was disabled by entering the incorrect password. I can not go through signaling server as TTY ports 14 and 15 (really PTY ports) show as disabled.

I accessed the PBX and attempted to enable in LD 37 with
.ENL TTY 14, but receive an error message indicating this command does not work for PTY ports.

BTW - what is the default "unlock" time for these ports?

Just to clarify, if I understood how to do rlogin to get all the way through to where I could use LAPW, is the 30 minute limitation still there? My lame attempts at rlogin using the application ZOC, seem to look exactly like what I see with telnet.

I need to try to work a little more with the script, but my concern again would be the info is available in clear text within the script which would have to be provided to whomever was going to have to initiate the script as part of a login.

I actually never thought of something else -- can you access the PBX via telnet, if you do not have an SS?

Here is the ISS info again (I believe someone asked this already):

Again, I very much appreciate your help.

Sorry I forgot that you had already sent the information. This thread is getting quite large now!. You are not subjected to any time out period when using the Rlogin protocal.
Even the Nortel trainers on my course did not know that it existed!.
As far as the scripts go for Procomm. You can always do a script like mine for other people & only give them the compiled copy i.e. "*.wax". Keep your "*.was" safe. It's not possible to decompile a Procomm Plus script.
If you use the SM Telnet program as described in my guide, then it will automatically take you to your PTY port via "pdt". You should be able to contact me via email.

Is this your e-mail address: tspforum@btinternet.com?

I like the no time out on the rlogin --- do you know the string I need to use to get to the LAPW login?

I see what you are saying about the script and compiling. I will check what is available with the apps we have to use.

Sorry, I did not know the rule about e-mail addresses. Apology is extended to anyone reading the thread.
