enabling 2nd processor

i want to enable the second processor in a compaq ml530 server running NT4 server, anyone have any suggestions, or ideas, or pitfalls i may encounter? I am running SQL on the box as well, dont know if that makes a difference?

What have you tried so far to enable the processor? I think you may have to re-install the OS to get the 2 processor kernel to be loaded.
