Have reported to Mitel but Local Mitel support is frustrating (most of their suggestions are time-wasters)

System is in Australia
I have a MiVB MxeIII 7.2 SP1 PR1 that is obviously having issues by sending DTMF to PSTN line too quickly .
If i use individual trunk access no problems , can select line and dial number.
If i set ARS to allow an extra digit and dial an extra one at the start ( after access code) the call progresses ( so extra digit is acting as a delay).

If i use ARS with acecss code + 8 digits ( length of local number) the call fails with a carrier RVA "number you have dialled is incorrect".

Mitel advised that I add CO tone detection (which requires a system restart)
sample 4 delay 7 sens -15 cont Freq1 425 Freq2 425 On1 375 Off1 375 On2 375 Off2 375
Have added that and restarted the system - This made no difference

I also have a tone detection plan configured as follows
Tone plan Number 1 Max wait for tone 2 Action on time out Outpulse DTMF
Tones to detect 1 AU Dial tone Action to take Outpulse DTMF

I have a test ars entry 6 + 8 route 9

Route 9 TDM Tg1 ( PSTN) COR 64( no restriction) DM15
Digit Mod 15 Absorb 1 ( 6) Final tone plan <T01>

This site is in a cluster with 16 other Mxe's , 14 of them are having no problem selecting the PSTn lines , 2 of them are having this issue.

is there any trinks to adding the Tone detection - its looking like it does nothing ?
Also Does anyone Know of those tone detection settings are correct for Australia - perhaps they have goen me the wrong codes ?

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I thought the CO Tone Detection was more so to do with busy tone disconnect on PSTN so lines don't lock up.
Mine is similar to yours except sensitivity is -24dB. This works fine for me. (in AU)
To test this, make a call on the PSTN and then hangup the far end. You should get a few busy signals and the IP Set should then return idle, if it doesn't the the CO Detection is not working correctly.

I'll have a look at a system that has a tone plan and let you know, I'm sure I've done this on a system with 3G diallers (analogue)

Just checked.
Mine looks the same except I have Outpulse default (not DTMF)

Also another thing to try.
Make sure that Digits Before Outpulsing is blank in your ARS Route.

You've put your tone plan in the final tone plan section of the digit modification form.

It needs to be in the digits to be inserted part.

Thanks techy that was the fix , i new i was doing something wrong
