I had posted a short while ago about binary numbers. The program I'm using is called "Emu 8086/8088" I was wondering if this program was any good? I downloaded it as freeware at programmers heaven.
I'm still in the learning stage of learning numbers. I think I can do conversions to hex now with some confidence.
The Art of assembly is a great tutorial, but I noticed that some of the exercises appear to soon. Much of the lessons these exrecises go over aren't until page 20, 23, etc. Are there any tutorials that don't jump around like this? I have hit a stumbling block and feel it is too soon to do the exercises until I can read up on how to actually do them. I can do the conversions but I cannot do the rest of the tutorial because these methods aren't explained till you read further; past the exercises.
Thanks.
