Hi all,

i recently managed to empty my c:/windows/temp folder.
It is now giving a Blue Screen of death after i enter username + password.

This is on Win95 by the way.

Thanks,

JB

That was all you did - emptied the temp folder?

Will it boot in safe mode?

Hi wolluf,

Yes, it boots into safe mode OK,
Any ideas ?

What happens if you don't log on - just cancel the log on prompt. This will take you to 'default' desktop in win95 (Safe Mode does too). If that works - suggests its your logon somehow. Is machine set up for multiple users? Is logon just windows or network too? Does blue screen say anything helpful? (eg, sometimes gives system file names).
