Hi all

We have a IP LDK 300 & IP LDK 100 systems networked with a voip link.

1. Our safety officer want me to program a cellular number with a short code like *711 (700-800 is our number range) so that anybody can reach that cell number if the safety officer is not at his ext (711) irespective if they have authorization to make external calls.

Had a look at the emergency pgm226 table but how do I access those numbers from a normal analogue extension?

Also is the emergency table the best way or is there a way that we can setup a universal speed dials?

2. Our safety officer also wants the extension 711 to only ring say 3 times and then get forwarded to ext 755 wich is a control room number but the 755 number should not forward to 711 if busy.

Any ideas will be greatly apreciated.
All programming will be via PCadmin since the remote site (LDK 100) does not have digital keysets, only analogue.

Thanks in advance

Johan

You should use common speed dialling number for this function.
Using speed dialling number users just dial a four digit number to reach the cell phone.
You need the LDK SPEED dial Editor tha can be found here:

For the other problem check diversions on this phone in PGM121.

Thanks Doctor

I got the speed dials working for our main site (LDK300) but the remote site (LDK100) does not route the calls correctly.
The remote site only has a network uplink to the LDK300 site and no direct telco connection. All of its calls get diverted over the network link to the LDK 300 and from there on out the ISDN uplink.

In speed editor I tried both the "NET" option and "Co Group" 1 on the Remote LDK100 but they constantly get diverted to the switchboard at the LDK 300 site.

Both systems use the 2200 - 2400 speed dial range and both systems have been programmed to use ** as the speed dial code.

Thanks in advance

Johan
