I have a dreamweaver page with an mpg file embeded.
When testing the page, I keep getting the error message "The data that the plugin requested, did not download successfully."
Any ideas?

Make sure that you didn't forget to upload you mpg file to the server! Or that the link to the file is correct! Test only mpg file alone, not on the page and see if it exists and URL is correct. Good Luck! :)

Thanks
I've checked out the server and the mpgs are definately uploaded. I have done some testing and have come to the conclusion that:
The problem can't be with the codecs because the mpgs play locally, just not online.
It can't be the firewall either because they work on one machine but not another and they both go through the firewall.
It can't be the operating system because they work on a machine with NT4 and one with XP but not on another one with XP.
Also it can't be a problem with Windows Media Player because I have tested it on two machine both with the same version of media player and it works on one, but not the other.
When it does work the windows media player logo shows, then the movie plays and the control panel works. When it doesn't work, sometimes it is just black where the video is supposed to be and sometimes it comes up wit the message "The Data that the plugin requested, did not download successfully."

Any one got any ideas?
