Hi.. the company I am working for wants their IP Office to play an auto-attendant at night when they hit a night button. We have a 4.2
To accomplish this I created an auto attendant, Main, which assigned short codes for each of the announcements, Starting with *8101 and so on. I had someone record *8101.
I think created short code *95 which is
AutoAttendant
AA:Main
I then created a fake voip extension with unconditional forwarding (all boxes checked) to go to *95
Finally, I put the face voip extension (400) in the Night Service Fallback of them main incoming collective call waiting hunt group.
It's doesnt work.
It doesnt answer when you dial 400
It doesnt answer when you dial *95
I even tried ppointing the the incoming call route for all calls to go to AA:Main for testing purposes, it answers for a few seconds of dead air, then hangs up.
Voicemail is working fine.
The recorded IS there when I dial *8101 and choose to listen.
Any ideas?
