Have a couple users that used the copy feature and always checked the emailed .wav file. Well, over 600 voicemails have piled up on the SD card that they never cleaned up. I assume there is somewhere from the file manager where I can purge their boxes?

From embedded file management go to system>dynamic>lvmail which will have all voicemail files. It also has all greetings for voicemail and auto attendants and the naming seems to have no rhythm or reason. When you select a file, it will show some information in the right pane about what it is for but that should be fun with a ton of voicemail in the folder.

If you know the greetings were recorded on a certain date you could sort by date and remove the other files. To bad the embedded file management also does not sort by date very well (it sorts by day of the month first instead of month then day. So the 10th of january, march, june etc all grouped together which is not to useful). I tend to shut down just the sd card, put it into my sd card reader on my pc so I can sort it properly. Still a hassle and quite easy to delete greetings you want to keep. If they don't mind re-recording its not a big deal but I have had customers lose their minds if they can't keep some recordings.

You can do it from a DTE connection pretty easily.
Look for the ivm-mbox commands here:

Oh well I feel stupid. Great to know pink for you.

personally I would make the users do it themselves, that way they might learn :)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I think AAcon said it before, 'clear out your voicemails or clear out your desk'.

It's not rocket signs purple.

And this is exactly why I do not like the copy feature, people get lazy
