Embedded sound file problems

Need assistance on a rather odd problem. Been using DW4 for quite a while, but I have a problem never encountered before.

All was working well until my HD crashed & burned. After re-installing DW (on my spanking new 80gig HD), all my embedded sound files sound as if they are "muted" or that the volume is set to low.

The same file(s) sound fine when opened independantly with MediaPlayer, RealPlayer, etc., it's just when they are embedded that this happens??

Did I forget a plug-in or overlook a setting when reinstalling DW? Any assistance appreciated. "-I am anti-life, the beast of judgement. I am the dark at the end of everything. The end of universes, gods, worlds... of everything. "

What sort of sound files? can you post the code you sue to embed them? It sounds as if there is a setting that you probably left at default and need to tweak.

I like your uplifting and inspirational tag-line. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
