IP Office 500 V2 Rls 9.0 I Have several Information Only Mail Boxes built. And I have Custom Greetings loaded that play when you get the Mail Boxes. They Play once and then let the caller leave a message. I have gone through and and Pressed "4" to save it so that it Loops. But it never does. Any Ideas? Thanks

Use AutoAttendants for message only.
Create a shortcode : SC = *90XX TN = "AA:"N Action = AutoAttendant
Create a dummy user for each messagen and set unconditional forward to *90xx were xx equals the AutoAttendant number.
Create a group for each message and put one of the above users in each appropriate group.
Now use these users or groups to play a announcement.

For example a night message put the main group in night service and use one of the message groups a nightservice destination.
For a message if all the members are busy then use a message group as a fallback group and after playing the message drop the connection.
For any other purpose you csn think of.

Does it play in a loop if you use AA?

To save a user's or group's greeting as a loop you have to record a new one and save it with 4. If you don't record something new the save command is ignored.

Doesn't Loop if I use AA. However, I made AA:Main as my Fallback for the Incoming Route. That way, when they do nothing it sends them back to the beginning. Really wanted to do a Loop. But this will work. I'm able to Loop a Mailbox as long as I record the Greeting with the Handset. But not if I use a Custom Greeting that I uploaded to the system. Thanks for the Help

What if you record a greeting, set it to loop, and then replace it with your custom file?

Tried that too. Thought for sure that would solve my issue. Thanks for thinking of it....

An existing or pre-recorded greeting cannot be looped, the option to save it on a loop needs to be selected at time of creation or it doesn't work, when you swap the file you lose the flag to loop the file so that also doesn't work :)
