Embedded images

I am having a problem with a document on a users profile. The document has an embedded Visio image. Everybody else can see this image in the document ( whether they have Visio on their pc or not) except this user. ALT F9 doesn't help I can't see any setting difference and when I log on to this users machine with a diff profile I see the entire document. I have tired repairing and re-installing office over the top all to non avail.

Please help.

Is the document View set to Normal? Try changing it to Print Layout.

If that fails, login as admin; rename the user profile; shut down; power up; let user login, and see if problem persists.

If in Microsoft Word, go to Print Layout (2k) or Page Layout (97) and then to Tools, Options, View tab and uncheck Picture Placeholders.
