embed sql login in crystal reports

Hi,

I don't think I have seen this done. Need to embed a sql login into a crystal report? Anyone done that with parameters and then embed that into the parameter itself?

Please provide more detail. What exactly are you trying to achieve, against what DBMS, and in what environment. Crystal alone can't do this, but if you create your own application to view the report, lot's of option open up.

My DataLink Viewer provides integrated authentication functionality, so that the user doesn't have to login each time they run the report. The security is maintained by encrypting the authentication information and tying it to the windows user is and the windows machine id.
