Emailing a temporary Excel File as attachment

I have an Excel Spreadsheet that fetches data from a data source (Unix) everytime it is opened. This temp data is displayed in Excel and I want to be able to email it directly from within excel without having to save it as a file. I am able to attach it in a new email window, but when I click "send", nothing happens. Any ideas ?

Hi,
What version are you using? In later versions, you can select the data you want to send and click File/Send To/Mail Receipient and just the highlighted data will be part of the email

I may be asking the obvious, but is you email client set up in Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet options - Advanced?
