I'm having a really strange problem with outlook 2002. When sending emails it would remain in the outbox until I click on the outbox folder, then it gets sent. I also get no indication when I receive a new email, it only shows up when I click on the inbox.
I tried repairing Office XP, I uninstalled Outlook and reinstall, then I uninstall Office Xp and reinstall. Nothing so far takes care of the problem. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

take a backup of ur emails before u do anything.

goto
tools -options-mail setup tab-check the box send immediately when connected.
or
delete ur profile and try recreating it..
or
try using the inbox repair tool scanpst.exe which is located in your hard drive

The problem was the 'internet connection sharing'service. I turned it off in services and now the emails are being sent and receive normally.

Thanks for your input too.
