Email Notification of Action

I have a Corrective Action database that I have designed in Microsoft Access 97. There are forms that employees fill out certain information on. I have a close form macro that when they click on it the system emails me notification that a new action has been entered. My problem is that we are using Microsoft Outlook and every time they go to click to close, the system asks for the email profile. Then they have to click on another button for it to send. Is there anyway to avoid they email profile comming up and the email will just go when they click the close button?<br>

Yes if you provide the logon information. The username and password for the email account. What happens if the user opens his e-mail program without using your Access database.&nbsp;&nbsp;Do they get a message that asks for the Profile too.&nbsp;&nbsp;If so pick one of the profiles as a default.<br>Have them Launch Outlook.<br>On the Profile screen Click &quot;Options&quot; button and choose a default profile then click the &quot;Set as the default&quot; option button. Also uncheck the &quot;Show Logon screens....&quot;<br><br>Then click OK.<br>Also it all works a lot better if Outlook is up and running all day long for them and you.<br>Put it in their start-up group.
