Hi

I have a user that is never in the office but has an email address on our exchange server. Is it possiable to have their email forwarded to an external email address.

If so how do you do this

Thanks in advance

Michael

Follow these steps in Exchange Administrator:

1. Select File > New Custom Recipient
2. Select Internet Address in the window that follows.
3. Type in the e-mail address of the external account where mail is to be forwarded to. Click OK.
4. Fill in the details of this new account in the properties box. Click OK when finished.
5. Open the properties of the user whose e-mail is to be forwarded. Open the Delivery Options tab and click Modify.
6. From the GAL, select the Custom Recipient account - this should be signified by a name with a globe next to it.
7. Click OK to exit all windows.

All e-mail to the travelling user should now be forwarded to his external account.

If you want to hide the Custom Recipient account from the GAL, check the Hide from Address Book box in the Advanced tab in the the user's properties. However, do this last or you won't be able to select him/her from the list!
