Email disconnected when minimized

When the email window minimized, the system automatically disconnect the user. If user try to open database, message "Unable to find path to server" appeared.

anybody, any idea?

Hi!
A lot of things can be wrong here and I have seen some pretty odd stuff causing these kind of problems, including screensavers and other stuff.

You will need to check several things:

1. Do you use a version of Notes later then R5.03?
If not: immediatly upgrade!

2. DNS: Can the computer itself see the server at all times?
Verify this by "pinging" the Notes servername. That is the part before the first slash. It is recommended that the network name of your server is the same as the Notes name.
Ping also while Notes is minimized to see if this is a computer problem or a Notes problem.

If DNS is not working: fix this on the server or on the client or define a connection document in Lotus Notes to the server that contains the IP address of the server.

3. Check the existing connection and location documents to see if everything is correct there. Make sure all servernames and addresses are correct.

4. Disable automatic logoff. In some rare cases this has been the cause of this. Upgrades usually fix this.

If you provide some more feedback I can look deeper into this to find the real cause.
