EMail Attachments

I am having problems with some of our users when they send EMails with attachments. Here is our setup:
Outlook 2000
Exchange 5.5

They try to send a message with a .zip attachment. It just sits in their outbox and all they see is Sending Message 1 or 1. The message never leaves their outbox. Finally they just do a Ctl-Alt-Del and end their Outlook 2000 session.

If anyone has an idea, let me know.

This sounds as if the file may be too large for outbound delivery, or the virus scan is attempting to access it. Is it password protected?

File size is 92K. Will have to check on the virus part.
