EMail Archive and OWA

We have implemented commvault email archiving on our exchange servers.

we are able to recover archived mail from an outlook client with no problems, however when trying to recover mail from OWA we just get a blank message box.

Can anyone help

We had a similar problem a few months back. Messages were eventually recalled in OWA but you could be stuck looking at the blank window for up to 5 minutes.

The fix:

Give your "domain users" write access to the logs directory on your exchange server. You don't have to share it or anything, but they do need to be able to write to it as part of the process.

Hope that works for you, like it did for us.

It turned out to be permissions on the system mail box in the mailbox stores
