I am a fairly new ASP/Database developer so please be a little understanding. I am running Access 2000 but worry due to an increase in traffic that the performance will deteriorate. I am mainly confused with all the Editions and License stuff. All I really need is to be able to create the database, I don't need any reports or anything like that. What Edition do I need?

It sounds like you need the standard edition with the per cpu license. You don't need olap or metadata or to be able to parallel process right? Standard should be okay for that. You are anticipating a need for an increasing number of connections so per cpu instead of CAL licensing. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.
