Does anyone know of an automatic way to update the ACL of a user's mail database? We would like to give an admin group manager access to our 500 users without doing it one by one. And is there a way to automatically do this when registering new users?
Thanks,
R5 admin client allows to automatically update ACLs of many databases. goto Files tab, then select databases and apply ACL changes.
The R5 admin client only allows you to do that when you have access to the database. Cruise through the help database. There is a snippit of code that allows you to do this. I've done it, and it works.

typically an admin should have access to mail files. or, at very least, a way to gain that kind of access. worst case scenario - log in from server's console and administer mailfiles from there.

you are right, though, if such access cannot be gained, then the only resort is to write a script

<img src=
Rouslan Zenetl
webmaster@notesnet.com
<a href=
