Editing MS Word doc stored in the Access Database as OLE object

Does anyone know how I can edit MS DOC's that are Stored in Access 2000 Database as OLE object?

What I need to do is check if the remarks field (OLE Object) if null (new), if true than automated add MS Doc with information from other fields else just open the MS Doc.

It's urgent... please help asap
