Editing e-mails and old username shows up

This sounds like a minor problem, and it is, but nonetheless it has baffled me. I have a user who got married so I changed her name in active directory. However, whenever she edits an e-mail (we have exchange 2003) her former username shows up. I looked in active directory as to what might be causing that and I see nothing. I am not sure where else I should look to fix that. Any thoughts?

What exactly do you mean by "edits" an email, is she looking at old emails, composing new emails, or replying/forwarding?

I found the problem. In outlook 2000 if you go to tools, options, e-mail options and then look at "mark my comments with" there is a place to insert your name. Her old last name was still in there.
