editing an ADO recordset 1

I'm trying to edit a field in Access2000 using ado
I set up the recorset using an ADO command w/a SQL statement. I know in DAO it was recA.edit then make changes then recA.update and I'm happy. Whats the equivalent in ADO

I just ran into the same problem a couple of days ago. Much of the syntax is the same except you don't need the .edit before the update. It uses the .AddNew .BOF .EOF .Close etc.... Check it out by going into some visual basic code and right clicking on the word DAO or ADODB and looking at the properties under RecordSet for each object. [sig][/sig]
