Echo when using headset

Hi
I have IP500v1 with 3 DS 30 modules PRI lines from BT
Software is 7.0.23
Calls are not being recorded
When customer calls out using headset the remote party complains of echo but when call is made using handset call is fine
This is with the following phones 5410 5420 9508 and with different headsets on all modules
All headsets are Plantronics NC
Any ideas anyone

Turn off AGC from the menu of the phones.
I also thing you can adjust the gain a bit before turning it off.

Are you using the HIC or HIS cable ?

To these phones it should be the HIC, Plantronics partcode is 49323-44.
