Hello,
I am new in the Avaya telecomunications and I'm trying to learn some stuff on my own before my manager approves an Avaya class.
In our company we have an s8700 and we have some extensions with the EC500 feature enable.
I am trying to find how many used and available licenses we have.
Also I want to know how to enable the EC500 feature on a new extension.
I found some documents on the Avaya web site, but I'm not having much luck.
Thanks.

Change station and add an ec500 button.

change off-pbx-telephone station-mapping XXXX

list off-pbx-telephone station-mapping

To locate how many current EC500 licenses you have used/available, run a disp cap command, and go to page 9.

I was able to see the licenses information with the "display capacity" command.
I also used the "add off-pbx-tel stat" command.
Finally from one of the phones I dialed: FAC#Extension#Securitycode# and heard a 3 beep confirmation signal.

Thanks for your help, it lead me in the right direction.
