I would like to know if anyone has enabled the ability of calling an extension of the PBX from your cell phone. We have rolled out about 200 cell phones with EC500 capability and would like to know how to place a call using the 5 digit extension. Thanks

Who is the carrier for the cell phones? ATT/Cingular has a EOD? Ask your rep.

In the future everything will work...

Our Carrier is Sprint.

They would have to set up the 5 digit calling on their end. I would call your rep. We have it setup for out ATT users.

In the future everything will work...

Thanks found out it is called Intergrative Office.

As long as the cellular phones do not block their caller id, the switch will identify it as the ext number.

In the future everything will work...

You could use Feature Named Extensions. Use a DID extension for "Select Idle Appearance", then program that DID on the cell as a memory dial. The user then calls that entry, they hear dialtone and they dial the desired extension!

Where would I enter the did extension under "select Idle appearance" (what for are you talking about?

d00kie - instead of tacking your questions onto the end of three seperate and closed threads, perhaps you can start a new thread for your EC500 questions.

Thanks for understanding.
