I’m having a problem with my EC500. When I get a call on my cell phone the S8700 only sends out my Listed Directory Number. How do I get it to pass the incoming digits along? I get caller-id just fine on all other calls. Any ideas?

well, what i did was route calls to our cell phones over Paetec, they let you over ride the BTN.

most likely you will not be able to do this, most of the PRI providers will ONLY allow #'s to be sent out that are "registered' to that PRI, this is because of 9/11, and liability issues. lie DontDeleteMeAgain said above, some providers such as Paetec will let you pass any digits.

This is really up to your provider to allow...

Mitch,
this is true in most cases, but in NY Paetec does not care, i can send 1234567 if i want.

yep, I know DontDeleteMeAgain [a little paranoid are we with that username? :) ]
Paetec is one of the better ones, will let you sent whatever you would like. There are not many like that any longer.

lol, the admins deleted me about 4 times, for nothing, anyway, thats what i did for my users, created a route pattern with a Paetec circuit, & routed their individual cell phones to it. works great.
