I have little experience of solaris but need to change the time on a solaris box as it is out. I think it could be causing problems with certificates. can anyone tell me the commands to change the time?
 
Sounds a simple enough question. You could use the date command (see man pages) or you could use ntpdate, again see the man pages. Possible problems could occur if you put a huge "step" in time. Some databases and other applications complain particularly if the "step" is backwards. Please re-post if you require further information.
