E8605 error restoring SQL dastabase files

Hi,

i have 2 SQL files from a backup (1 .mdf and 1 .ldf) that I want to restore to their original location. Backup software is Brightstor Arcserve. I was trying to restore them to a different server but I kept getting errors about the dbagent not found so I decided to restore to the original location. However now I am getting the following:

"E8605 Failed to start restore. (DBNAME=, EC=server:ErrorMsg = [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. SQLState = 28000 nativerr=18452èŽ)"

Any ideas..I am pulling out my hair on this and I haven't much left!!

I was using an incorrect sa password. Once I found the correct one I didn't receive any errors and the restore went through successfully.
