Hi there,

We have just installed a 5.5 server which delivers incoming internet mail to other E5.5 servers. However, for some reason when we "Reply to all" to an internet mail it puts the replier's (your) email address in the reply To: field.

How can we stop this happening?

thanks in advance
Elliott.

that is by design.
Since you are part of all, your name will be in there, that is logical.

Marc,

Thanks for your reply.

Yessss... but it is not the behaviour that we want! When we had a previous server act as the incoming IMC it would resolve the Repliers name as in the GAL & not include it in a Reply To All.

Cant see a difference in the settings of each server to make / change this behaviour :-(

Search the kb for ResolveP2 - the old server will have had this set (there are a few choices depending on the exact behaviour you desire). The new IMS server will have the default. The reason you can't see it is that it is a registry-only setting, it's not exposed in the GUI.

This worked!! Thanks very much for the tip

Cheers, Elliott.
