E3406 Unable to read file EC=Lock violation

Hi,
I keep getting
E3406 Unable to read file EC=Lock violation
error message when backing up certain Microsoft Exchange .pst archives. It only happens to some archives.
Any suggestions?

Are you sure they are just archives and not that someone has mapped to them and using them.

These are 100% archives being accessed via Outlook.

Ok so if Outlook is accessing them, then it will have them locked.

It doesn't happen to all pst files, only to some of them. I leave my outlook archives open all the time and they get backed up without any problems. It only happens to some pst files.

Hi,
What could you possibly recommend to get all PST files backed up on regular bases? Do i need an agent for open files or there is another way?
