I work for a school and need to provide students with e-mail services. What would function best, as an e-mail server for about 1000 students?

You came to the right forum! Obviously you've been looking at Exchange. If cost is no issue, Exchange 2000 w/W2K server and Active Directory installed and configured will work perfectly.

I like I-Mail. Less security problems, and cheaper. Glen A. Johnson

The school uses mostly Windows NT with some Windows 2000, and will be migrating to all win2K in the future.

Any one got some good resources for setting up Exchange for the first time in a win2k domain?
