Hi all, I have a user in our domain that uses his personal e-mail address. So I want to forward all of his domain's email to his personal.

I added a new contact and used the SMTP addy. When trying to send e-mail to his new personal address through our domain I get this:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<domain.com #5.5.0 smtp;550 Unable to relay for test@msn.com>

Can you email his personal address directly?

I just created a new contact in our exchange server which was my personal address and sent mail to that directly. It works fine.

What was the next step I then selected my Exchange account and under the Exchange Gneral tab I selected Delivery Options. In there, under Forwarding Address section I selected Forward To and then modified the recipient to be the contact I created above. I checked the box saying deliver to both and then tested it again. Bingo - no problems.

Is this how you did it?

Yes, but in the "contact address list" I removed the domain address and put the personal one in there. maybe that was the problem?

I switched it back to keeping the domain contact in the address list, and now kept the personal contact invisible. I'll see if it works this time.

Thanks for your help Castor66!
