hi all,
so the hosting company is using iis6.0 servers for an e-commerce site that we will launch eventually. the site will be done using asp.net with backend dbs. i expect a majority of the work to be the coding aspect in asp.net but i want to know how much or what do i need to do as far as iis6.0 is concerned?

or after coding is done, do i simply just upload the scripts and vola?

would any1 plz suggest some resources to help with config details if thoes are necessary. how much do hosting companies these days take care of.

depends on what config details, the asp.net forum855 may have more info.

and it depends on the hosting co, some are helpful and clued up, far too many aren't!

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Your hosting company would usually do all of the setup with respect to enabling asp scripting, but ask them specifically if they take care of this or what.
