This is my first time using tek-tips.

Is this a good place to ask about dynamic linking in Unix/Linux environemnts (using C/C++)?

Obviously I must be more specific to get an answer to the question of how to do it or anything like that but I just want to know if this is where to ask.

It has been over a decade since I have done any Unix programming so I need to adjust to the idea of getting into it, so please excuse my hesitation.
