Dynamic IP to Dynamic IP VPN

In theory, it is possible using a dynamic DNS service. Search the web for 'dynamic dns'. You'll find several.
I have never done this, but have talked to people that have with varying levels of success. If at all possible, I would try to secure a fixed IP, at least for the server side.
On another note, are you sure that your IP's will change daily? I find that cable addresses tend to remain rather fixed even though they are technically dynamic, but that may vary between service providers.

Paul, I have a similiar situation, only 1 office. Because the IPs always change I call in and get someones how know how to check the current IP.
If the pc for incoming calls is w98 then type winipconfig
If the pc for incoming calls is xp then type ipconfig (at the command prompt)
under the PPP section is your current IP number.
I then edit the VPN to the new ip number and im up and running again.
Its a bit messy, but it works!!

I had a look at dns2go - you have to pay, its not free
I started experimenting, and found a-sort-of automatic way of finding the current ip address (at least it works for me)
I configured the office Outlook to pick up email every 15 minute using an unused pop email address. Used the rules wizard to check the subject line for 'vpn'. When it finds it, it then fwds the email to my main pop email account.
Therefore when I want to know the current IP address, I email the office with the subject 'vpn', Outlook picks it up and returns it with - tada - the current IP address for example...
Received: from modem-4017.crocodile.dialup.pol.co.uk ([81.78.47.177] helo=sales)by cmailm5.svr.pol.co.uk with smtp
and when I got that information from the Outlook header, typed in 81.78.47.177 and I was vpning without having to call anyone.
Im sure there's proggies out there that can do the job, but since im the boss I have to watch what im spending, and this is free so im happy
