Hi,
I have the following issue:
I have one DNS with one forward zone defined and one DHCP server using the dynamic DNS update function in order to keep the DNS always updated.
The DHCP server has several scopes defined representing the different LANs in the company.
When a user is connected to a "scope" (LAN1) the DNS server is well updated by the DHCP server. In the DHCP leases list I can see the status "Leased" for that machine.
However when this user goes to another location and tries to be connected to another "scope" (LAN2) then he gets the IP address from the DHCP server but the DNS server seems to not be updated by the IP address it just gets.
It works only if I remove the entry from the DNS or if the first lease has expired.
Do you know why?
