The Dynalink and Askey tech support has been short of useless. Does anyone know the E2PROM type (32pin 27128 style) on the Dynalink V1456VQH-R EGL internal ISA ACF Type 1 modem ? I want to reprogram it with its original data.
Any help would be appreciated.
BACKGROUND TO THE PROBLEM --------------
I tried to upgrade the firmware in my Dynalink V1456VQH-R EGL internal ISA
ACF Type 1 modem using a file from the Rockwell web site as there was no
firmware for this card on the Dynalink web site. (This was before I found the Askey website).
The flash upgrade wizard copied V90 firmware to the card and saved the
original firmware in an .S37 file.
The upgrade does not seem to have worked as I cant get the
card to respond to AT commands with terminal emulator software.
The flash program wizard also can't find the modem on the COM port.
It appears that the loader program in the flash memory has dissappeared.
How can I reinstall it and the original firmware? Is there an upgrade to
V90 for the UK?
