DW crashing it gives error message...

Hello All-

I am about ready to throw my laptop out the window! Maybe someone can help.

I am online and watching this very closely so if you have questions I will respond quickly.

I am using Dreamweaver UltraDev4. I have started getting error messages. They all very a little. Here is an example. Everytime I try to create a form and then create a Insert to put the information into a database. Something I've done many times before. However DW now crashes everytime I click on on the After Instering GoTo Next page button in the wizard form to generate the Insert statement. This is the error message, "Whille executing objectTab in Insert Record.htm, a Javascript error occured."

Please save a laptop today. A laptop is a terrible thing to waste.

will need a bit more mate, post your pages code and we may see something Live long and make your kids suffer..

Have ever installed an extension?
Sometimes DW crsahes due to some extentions that you have recently installed.

You can also try yo reinstall your DW.
It is also possible that your wizard's program code is corrupted.
Backup your templates and reinstall it...

Yes, I have installed two extensions. Both from the same company. The First one is an extension to give you the easy menu to work with SAFileUP from Webassist.com. The second is an extension to help make Paypal integration easy.

I have reinstalled the program, twice, and it still crashes. But before I tried it I installed the extensions again too. I see from what you're saying I should try it for a while before I install the extensions.

Have you had experience with the extensions from webassist.com?
