DVD ROM on Win2k Server

Hello,

I just installed Win2k Server on my machine (HP 7855), and the DVD drive does not work anymore. Any tips?

Thanks.
P.S. My machine was running on Win ME.

Is the DVD player a Yamaha dvd, if s you may find that it is not supported under win2k.. if not check the latest HCL at microsoft to see if its on the list. if it is on the list check your drivers( make sure they are for win2k, or NT5)
