DVD Drive

I'm pretty sure that the DVD part of the CD drive is gone. XP Pro won't acknowledge that the disk is in the drive. Is there anything I can do to get the drive to see the DVD?? It's sees the CD burner just fine. Both units are made by Sony.

Try using System Restore to go back to a point where everything worked.
