Duplicate Record

Can the code behind the dupliate button be modified to produce the following?

What I would like to do is, once the duplicate button is clicked, duplicate the record a number of times depending on 'Quantity' field.

Is it also possible that when the record is duplicated that the field 'name' is left blank

So what I want is a number of duplicated records then all I have to do is complete the name field on those records
