Duplicate name already on network

I have a server that is not reachable over the network and I have removed the name, taken it out of the domain and check all the domain controllers to see if it was removed and now added it back and still get the same message that there is a already a duplicate name on the network.

Anyone have any insight, I would greatly appreciate it.

did you go to server manager and remove the computer in question that way. Thanks

How many network cards are installed on this machine? I have seen this in a case when a machine has two network cards and Netbeui is bound to both. If this is your case you will need to go into your 2nd card and take the netbeui bindings off.
