This is my problem...
I have software that I install and then I have to go and install a DUN to communicate with the host server. I would like to put everything on one CD and use that one CD to install the software and the DUN. I know how to do everything but the DUN. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Go to M$ and download Dial Up Networking... when you get it, it should be an object package... just place the entire package on the cd...

I didn't ask, but I am assuming that you don't want to have to use the windows cd to install the additional files to instsll DUN... if that is the case, just find the necessary files and place theme in a directory on the cd... debonairOne

I am not looking to install the entire DUN package, I just want to be able to install a connection to my host, like ISP's do when you install the disks they give you...

Then you can create the DUN connection on one pc and then search the registry for that connection... export it to a file and include that with your package... once executed, it creates the entries in the registry that can then be seen in the appropriate location in the OS... just make sure that you have the appropriate entries for the differenet versions of the registry.. WinNT/2k/XP use version 5 and I believe 9x uses version 4... let me know how this works, I have used it for LAN connections and it worked flawlessly... debonairOne

Hey guys, I'm interested in what jbrusie is trying to do as well. I actually need 10 different dial-ups that are all configured differently, but hate setting it up each time on every machine. I need some kind of installer or something so it can do this automatically.

Thanks,
Jason

I have not been able to try any of the suggestions yet. I hope by the end of the week I will have time to dig into this issue.

Thanks

I found a program called Dialup Constructor, it's all over the web. I download the shareware version and it locks up. Maybe you could try it though.
