Does the B179 support bridged appearances?

I would think not, you could bridge the b179 extension onto another phone thou

Yeah I'd thought of twinning it but that's kind of twice around the barn to get to the front door - and if the user already has their desk phone twinned to a cell number it gets kinda messy.

Why would you want/need bridged apperances?
(Probably a US thing as I have never used them)

Why? Second phone in an executive office, on their conference table. Of course it can't be just one executive, I now have to do more.

That is an example when twinning should be used. One number rings on both so can be answered on either and same number displayed when calling out from either.

You were right, it was just me not knowing the difference between mobile and internal twinning. When you first mentioned it I thought they were the same, single option.

No, but you can only do one or the other, not both. Which is awkward at times
