Until recently I had two HDs both primary partitions on the same IDE channel one(master)with xp home and the other(slave)with xp pro. When the master disk was replaced with a brand new one I formatted it and installed xp home again. The problem was that there was no more dual booting;I could see the second hard disk with everything inside(windows, program files and the lot)but I could boot from it.I checked the My computer>properties>advanced but I could see only one partition, that is xp home(fast detect). What comes to mind is to either use a boot manager or change the boot sequence from the bios.Any ideas are more than wellcome!!
