Hello everyone-

I've got a 10g HD, I partitioned it as 2g (NTFS) and 8 gig (NTFS)Win2K.. How and where do I create a boot menu that allows me to pick which ever OS I desire upon bootup. Furthermore, I currently boot into NT since it's the first OS at the beginning of my HD but I can't boot to Win 2k on the last 8g's available.. A menu would really help!

Thanks gman

Have you actually installed win2k yet? If you install it on the second partition, it should update NT's boot files & add an entry on the menu (during the install process) so both NT & 2K are selectable. If you have installed it already on second partition, I'm a bit confused as to why no entry on the menu. You could manually add one to boot.ini (like the normal one for NT - but pointing at partition 2 not 1 - with /fastdetect on the end - but you should also have 2k versions of files ntldr and ntdetect.com in the root of your NT drive).

Both suggest this is not a good long term idea & your NT needs to be at least SP4.

thank you!!
