1. We have a second SIP provider that we have just set up with our IPO 500. They have provided one public IP source address for inbound calls and a different destination IP address for outbound calls. I set up two separate SIP trunks (including an ARS for both) for each address and everything is working O.K. Excellent voice quality!!! Although I rabidly subscribe to the premise "if it ain't broke .. don't fix it", is there any other more simple or elegant way to handle this situation? This carrier will be providing us with multiple DID's. Can anyone see any out-of-the-ordinary trouble hovering over our shoulders with this set-up?
2. We have 10 SIP licenses. Is it O.K. to show 10 for each trunk and then the IPO figures out when all 10 are in use across the combined trunks?
Thanks,
Win
